AMFT #151752

Supervisor: Allie Levy-Akoka, LMFT #96670

Like many of the clients I work with, I have my own story of growth, challenge, and change. Through my own experiences, I’ve come to believe deeply in the resilience of the human spirit—and in the possibility of meaningful, lasting transformation.

For me, growth wasn’t about quick fixes. It required looking honestly at patterns—past and present—and understanding how they showed up internally and in relationships. Along the way, I was supported by people who didn’t just encourage me, but challenged me, reflected things I couldn’t see on my own, and helped me rebuild in a deeper, more grounded way. That experience continues to shape how I show up as a therapist today.

I now work with high-functioning adults and couples who feel stuck in patterns like overthinking, people-pleasing, emotional disconnection, or recurring relationship conflict. Many of my clients are insightful and self-aware—but still struggle to create lasting change. My role is to help you understand those patterns at a deeper level and begin shifting them in a way that feels real and sustainable.

With experience in dual diagnosis mental health settings, I’m comfortable working with complexity, intensity, and the parts of life that don’t always feel easy to talk about. I also understand how coping patterns—including substance use or emotional avoidance—can develop as ways to manage stress, overwhelm, or pain.

My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I integrate insight-oriented and evidence-based therapies to help you build emotional awareness, strengthen boundaries, and change how you show up in your relationships and your life. Therapy with me isn’t about staying on the surface—it’s about doing meaningful work that leads to lasting change.

I also bring a culturally informed lens to my work, with an appreciation for identity, family dynamics, and lived experience. I value authenticity, humor, and creativity, and I believe therapy can be both deeply meaningful and genuinely human.

If you’re ready to move beyond simply understanding your patterns and start changing them, I’d be glad to work with you.

Based in Calabasas, CA, I offer in-person therapy for clients throughout Los Angeles and Ventura Counties, as well as virtual sessions across California.
